The Huffy So Sweet 20″ is a good next bike for children who have found their balance and want something a little bigger. It suits riders aged 5 to 9, roughly 44 to 56 inches tall.
The steel frame is built to handle everyday use, and the blue and pink finish gives it a cheerful look. With a single gear there is nothing to shift, so young riders can concentrate on steering, pedalling and building confidence.
The 20-inch wheels are a natural step on from smaller bikes and from stabilisers, and the easy-adjust seat lets you raise the saddle as your child grows. For stopping, the braking set-up listed for this model includes a coaster brake along with front and rear steel sidepull caliper brakes.
Every Huffy bike leaves the factory at least 85% built. The last few assembly steps, plus any brake and tyre adjustment, should be done before the first ride, either at home with basic tools or by an experienced bike mechanic.
