The Huffy Extent 20 in Aqua Blue gives young riders a real mountain bike of their own, with a cool, bright finish and bold graphics. It fits children aged 6 to 9, roughly 117 to 136 cm in height, who are ready to move on from their first bike.
A twist shifter and Shimano indexed rear derailleur provide six gears, making hills less of a struggle. The derailleur sits behind a guard to keep it working properly. The steel hardtail frame and front suspension fork are built to last and smooth out bumpy tracks.
Braking comes from a disc at the front and a linear-pull brake at the rear, giving consistent control whatever the weather. The child-specific padded saddle has an alloy quick-release clamp, so the seat can rise as your rider does.
Every Huffy bike leaves the box at least 85% built. The last few assembly steps need only basic tools, and the manual and instructions are included. Gears, brakes and tyres may need a little adjustment before the first ride and as part of normal upkeep. If you would rather not do it yourself, a local bike mechanic can finish the job.
